Located in the hill country of Texas, this job features over 450 linear feet of horizontal fence with 1x6x8 cedar set on 3x3 galvanized powder coated black metal exposed post and a 1x6 cedar cap. We install nailers to the sides of the post so the pickets sit flush with the front of the fence line, making the post visible from both sides of the fence. The middle of the fence sections are secured with a 2x2 cedar stringer to prevent movement of the pickets. We made a custom 14ft swing gate with heavy duty barrel hinges skinned with ¾” cedar for easy trailer access to the property.
